This product is part of the Kryolan “TV Paint Stick” line: a stick foundation/cream-base designed for full coverage with a matte finish.
The shade is “Ivory”. According to the official list, “ivory” is flagged as one of the colour options in the range.
The formula: described as a “hybrid based on a creamy fusion of oils and waxes making the product incredibly durable. With an average of more than 35% pigment coverage its concealing capabilities are excellent
Intended for professional use (film/TV/stage) but also available for general use.
High coverage: With ~35% pigment load, this foundation stick can cover uneven skin tone, discolorations, and provide a strong base.
Matte finish: Ideal for settings or photography where a non-shiny appearance is preferred.
Durability: The oils + waxes base helps the product adhere and stay put, especially useful in performance/photography contexts.
Shade availability / versatility: The “Ivory” shade caters to lighter skin-tones; also the range offers many shade options so mixing or matching is possible.
Professional grade: As a Kryolan product designed for film/TV, it offers a more “kit” style of performance than many standard consumer foundations.
Here’s a recommended application method to get the most out of it:
Prep the skin
Cleanse and moisturize well. Because the coverage is strong, ensuring the skin is hydrated and smooth will help avoid emphasising texture.
If you have oily skin, use a suitable primer or mattifying base to help the foundation adhere and last longer.
Apply the product
Use the stick directly on the face: e.g., draw lines/sheers of the stick on the forehead, cheeks, chin, or apply on the back of your hand then pick up with a brush/sponger.
The official instructions say: “Apply on moisturised skin and blend with a foundation brush or sponge of preference.”
Start from the centre of the face and blend outwards for even coverage.
Blend and build
Because the formula is pigmented, you might only need a thin layer over most areas. For more problematic zones (blemishes, under-eyes, discoloration) you can layer carefully.
If you prefer a lighter coverage look, Kryolan notes you can “sheer down” the product by mixing it with “Make-up Blend”.
Set the foundation
For extended wear and to keep the matte finish, set with a translucent powder or use Kryolan’s “Dual Finish” powder.
This is especially useful in humid climates (like India) or for longer wear events.
Finish your makeup routine
After base is done and set, proceed with blush/bronzer/contour etc. Keep in mind the base is strong — so your finishing touches should balance the look.
Because it’s matte and high coverage, you may want to add a bit of luminosity (highlight, etc) if you want a less “flat” finish.
Removal
Use a proper makeup remover/cleansing oil, especially because heavy foundations can cling more strongly. Kryolan says: “For removal … Make-up Remover, Natural Cleansing Oil or Natural Cleansing Lotion are the best choices; they easily break down this full coverage foundation.”
Follow with your normal skincare.
