This is part of the Kryolan TV Paint Stick line: described as “Kryolan’s most popular foundation in stick form for those who want full coverage with a matt finish.”
It has a hybrid base (oils + waxes) for durability and has an “average of more than 35% pigment coverage” per the official description.
Shade: FS 38. This shade is explicitly listed in Kryolan’s colour selection list under “FS” series.
Standard size: 25 g (as per Kryolan’s details for the line).
Intended for professional use – film/TV, photo shoots, etc — but applicable for high-quality brand/visual asset work as well.
High coverage: Because of the strong pigment load (~35%+), the stick is capable of concealing uneven skin tone, discoloration, and creating an even base.
Durable & matt finish: The stick format with oil/wax fusion gives long wear and a matte, camera-friendly finish — good for visual assets, studio lighting and high-definition work.
Flexible shade match: The FS-series includes a wide range of depths/undertones — offering you more tailored match options for your models and visuals.
Versatile usage: Besides being a foundation, such sticks are often used in pro kits for highlight/contour or body application (depending on shoot needs).
Professional quality: Because you’re doing brand-asset creation (desktop, mobile, square formats, high resolution etc), using a professional product means better consistency and fewer post-production corrections.
Here’s a step-by-step you can follow, especially in your brand-asset makeup workflow:
Prep the skin
Cleanse and moisturize the skin thoroughly. Because the product is high-coverage and matte finish, any dryness or texture will show more.
If you know the model or shooting environment is humid/oily (as in many Indian conditions), consider using a primer or mattifying base before applying.
Apply the stick
On moisturised skin, apply directly: either draw lines from the stick onto face (cheeks, forehead, chin) or deposit some on the back of your hand and pick up with a brush or sponge. Kryolan says: “Apply on moisturized skin and blend with a foundation brush or sponge of preference.”
Start from the centre of the face and work outwards for even coverage.
Blend / build
Because of the strong pigment, you may need only moderate amount. For areas needing more coverage (pigmentation, uneven tone) you can layer lightly instead of a heavy first coat.
If you desire a lighter coverage look (for alternate shots or particular brand aesthetic), Kryolan notes you can sheer it down with their Make-up Blend.
Set and finish
Given your brand-shoot context (high resolution, studio/mobile capture), you will benefit from setting with a translucent powder or setting spray to lock the finish and control shine/transfer. Kryolan recommends: “For extended durability set with Dual Finish or Translucent Powder.”
Once set, you can complete the look with contour/blush/eyes/lips as per the visual direction.
Removal and aftercare
At end of shoot or wear period, remove the foundation thoroughly. Kryolan’s guidance: “Make-up Remover – Natural Cleansing Oil or Natural Cleansing Lotion are the best choices; they easily break down this full coverage foundation.”
Follow with a normal skincare routine.
