This is part of the Kryolan “TV Paint Stick” line: a full-coverage stick foundation/cream base formulated for professional use (film/TV/photography).
Shade: FS 22 (listed in the colour selection for TV Paint Stick)
Size: 25 g standard size for the stick foundation in this line.
Core formulation claim: “hybrid based on a creamy fusion of oils and waxes … with an average of more than 35% pigment coverage its concealing capabilities are excellent.”
High-coverage: Excellent for concealing uneven skin tone, pigmentation, and providing a uniform base — useful for your brand visuals where consistency matters.
Matte, durable finish: The stick formulation with oil/wax base gives longevity and a matte surface suitable for photo/video or digital assets.
Shade flexibility within the “FS” series: FS 22 is part of a broader shade range, which allows you to pick depth & undertone appropriate for different models/skin tones.
Suitability for professional/kit use: Given your work on high-quality assets (desktop, mobile, square formats), using this product gives you the kind of pro finish that supports consistent visual output.
Here’s a recommended step-by-step method, adapted to your brand-asset workflow:
Prep the skin
Cleanse and moisturize. Because this formula is high-coverage and matte, proper skin prep (hydration, smoothing) helps avoid emphasising texture.
If skin is oily (or you’re working in warm/humid conditions), consider a mattifying primer or blotting to help the foundation adhere well.
Apply the foundation stick
On moisturized skin, apply FS 22 stick directly: either draw stripes on forehead, cheeks, chin or apply a small amount onto the back of your hand and pick up with a brush or sponge.
The brand instructs: “Apply on moisturized skin and blend with a foundation brush or sponge of preference.”
Start from the centre of the face and blend outwards for an even finish.
Blend / build coverage
Because of the strong pigment load, you may need only moderate amount; for areas requiring extra coverage (blemish, uneven tone) you can layer lightly rather than one heavy coat.
If you prefer lighter coverage, Kryolan says you can “sheer down” the product by using their Make-up Blend.
Set & finish
Especially for asset work (photo/branding), setting the foundation will help wear-time and consistency. Use a translucent powder or setting spray to lock the finish. Official recommendation: “For extended durability set with Dual Finish or Translucent Powder.”
Once set, you can continue with additional makeup (blush/eyes/lips) according to your brand aesthetic.
Removal & aftercare
At the end of your wear or shoot, use a good makeup remover or cleansing oil/ lotion. Kryolan notes: “Make-up Remover … Natural Cleansing Oil … are the best choices; they easily break down this full coverage foundation.”
