This palette is part of the Kryolan “Dermacolor Camouflage Creme” system. According to the brand: “an especially highly pigmented make-up which is designed to correct and cover skin disfigurements, discolorations and tattoos.”
The “6-Shade” version means the palette contains six creams / shade pans in one compact case, enabling you to match or mix for different skin tones.
It is especially suitable for face and neck application. Once used with the fixing system (Fixing Powder + Fixing Spray) from the same line, the coverage becomes water-proof and can last under extreme conditions (swimming, heat, physical strain).
The line emphasises that shades are intermixable, meaning you can blend shades from the palette to find the right tone/undertone.
Versatility for multiple skin tones: Having 6 shades in one palette gives flexibility — you can match different models, skin depths or tweak undertones.
Professional-grade coverage & durability: Because this is part of a professional make-up line used for corrective/camouflage work, it delivers strong coverage which helps in high-quality visual-assets (desktop, mobile, square formats).
Cost-effective kit resource: Instead of buying six separate shade pots, the palette gives you six in one — practical for a creative/brand shoot kit.
Mixing capability: Because the creams are inter-mixable, you can fine-tune colour/undertone on set (which is great if lighting or skin tone shifts) — which supports your multi-format visual output.
Built for demanding conditions: The claims of water/sweat resistance, durability under heat/strain mean this palette is suitable for long shoots, warm/humid climates, strong lighting — relevant for your Indian/visual-asset environment.
Here’s a recommended workflow tailored to your professional/brand-asset context:
Skin preparation
Cleanse and moisturise the model’s skin thoroughly so the surface is smooth and even (important because this is high-pigment product).
If you’re in a warm/humid environment (like many locations in India) or the model has oily skin, apply a mattifying primer or blot oil first to ensure the products adhere well.
Shade selection & mixing
From the six shades in the palette, pick the one nearest to the model’s skin depth/undertone under your actual lighting scenario.
If none match perfectly, mix two adjacent pans to custom-match the undertone. Because the palette is inter-mixable, this is built into the design.
For best blending, lightly warm the selected cream (e.g., on the back of hand) to make it more malleable.
Application
Using a clean spatula or brush, pick up a small amount of the cream and apply it to the area (face, neck or targeted area).
Blend the edges carefully into surrounding skin, especially if only using in patches (to avoid harsh lines). For a full-face base, ensure uniform coverage.
Because of the high pigmentation, aim to apply thin layers and build up only where necessary (rather than a thick first layer) for a more natural finish.
Fix and set
After application and blending, apply the corresponding Fixing Powder (and optionally Fixing Spray) from the Dermacolor system to lock in the coverage and boost wear and durability. This step helps achieve the “even under extreme conditions” claim.
Use a puff or brush to press the powder onto the area; remove any excess and check for overall finish.
Proceed with further makeup / asset capture
Once the base is set, you can continue with additional makeup (foundation for other areas, blush/contour/eyes, lips) in line with your brand aesthetic.
Given your workflow (desktop hero banners, mobile first, square formats), take a test capture under your actual lighting/camera setup after applying the base to confirm tone & finish appear as intended across formats.
Removal & after-care
At end of shoot/day, remove the product thoroughly using a proper remover or cleansing oil (since this is high-performance paint/camouflage).
Follow with skin-care (moisturiser, maybe mask) to maintain skin health — especially if using heavy corrective makeup regularly.
