This is part of the Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Creme line: “an especially highly pigmented make-up which is designed to correct and cover skin disfigurements, discolorations and tattoos.”
Shade: D4 in the “D-series” of this line.
Size: 4 g (refill size) — this small format is common for targeted corrective use.
Key claims: Once fixed with the system (Fixing Powder + Fixing Spray) the product becomes waterproof, resists wear under extreme conditions (swimming, heat, physical strain), and protects skin from UV radiation.
The line emphasises an extensive range of shades which are also inter-mixable to allow better match and natural appearance.
High-coverage corrective product: It’s built to cover strong skin irregularities (scars, patches, pigmentation) rather than light everyday coverage — very useful in your brand-asset/post-production context where visual consistency matters.
Durability and system support: When you use it along with the other components in the Dermacolor system (e.g., Fixing Powder + Spray) you get enhanced wear and resistance to humidity, movement, etc — which is helpful if you’re shooting in warm/humid conditions or under studio lights.
Shade flexibility / mixing capability: Since D4 is part of a broad shade palette and the brand allows inter-mixing, you have more control in matching Indian skin tones/undertones or adjusting for lighting/photography.
Professional / kit-worthy quality: Because Kryolan is a professional-make-up brand used in film/TV, you gain that kit-standard finish which is beneficial when you’re producing high-quality visual assets for your brand.
Skin prep
Cleanse and moisturise the area to be corrected. Because this is a dense cream, you’ll want skin to be smooth and not flaky.
For your Indian climate/higher humidity: If skin tends to be oily or sweaty, consider light priming or blotting before application.
Product application
Warm a small amount of the cream on the back of your hand or spatula — the brand’s official tip: “For best results always warm the cream to body temperature by mixing it on the back of your hand.”
Use a clean spatula or brush/finger and apply to the area needing correction (patch, scar, tonality difference).
Blend out the edges into the surrounding skin carefully so there are no harsh lines. Because of its high pigment, building coverage layer by layer tends to give better finish than applying too much at once.
Fixing / setting
After application and blending, apply the matching Fixing Powder and/or Fixing Spray in the Dermacolor system to lock the coverage, enhance wear and make the finish more water/sweat-resistant. (This is particularly important for your uses where visuals/asset quality under lighting matter.)
Further makeup / finish
Once fixed, you can proceed with your normal makeup workflow (foundation over other areas, blush, eyes etc). The corrected area is now the even base.
Because you’re working on high-quality visuals (desktop/mobile/square) you may want to check how the corrected area photographs (lighting, mobile capture) to ensure no visible patching or mismatch.
Removal and aftercare
Use a good cleanser/remover especially because high-pigment creams and fixing systems can cling. Proper removal maintains skin health — important if you do frequent shoots/brand asset creation.
Follow with your normal skin-care routine.
