This product is part of the Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Creme line: a highly-pigmented makeup designed to correct and cover skin discolourations, scars, tattoos and other visible irregularities.
Shade: D64. Retailers show “D64” listed among the available shades.
Size: 30 g — a larger format (compared to the smaller 4 g “refill” size) which is suitable for more coverage or regular professional use.
Key formulation claims: When used together with the Dermacolor Fixing Powder and Fixing Spray, the coverage becomes waterproof and withstands extreme conditions like swimming, heat and physical strain.
The product is designed especially for face and neck applications — though many professionals also use it for body areas needing heavy coverage.
High-coverage corrective: Because of its intensive pigment, it can effectively even out skin tone and cover strong discolourations — ideal for your brand asset work where flawless skin finish is important.
Professional grade / durable finish: The system claim of “waterproof when fixed” and “lasting under extreme conditions” makes it well-suited for shoots, long wear or challenging lighting/heat conditions (which you might face in your visual production workflow).
Suitable size (30 g): The larger size means you have enough product for multiple uses (shoots, models) rather than just spot correction — useful in your kit for brand visuals.
Shade flexibility & inter-mixability: D64 is one of many shades in the Dermacolor palette — you can mix with adjacent shades to fine-tune match, which is very helpful when working with diverse skin tones in your asset production.
Here’s a professional step-by-step tailored for your brand/asset context:
Prep the skin
Cleanse and moisturise the area to be corrected. Because this is a dense pigment cream, ensure the skin surface is smooth and well-hydrated — roughness or dryness will show.
In warmer/humid climates (like many parts of India) or under studio lights, consider a light mattifying primer or blotting excess oil to help the product adhere better.
Apply the product
Using a clean spatula or finger/brush, pick up a small amount of the D64 cream.
Warm it slightly on the back of your hand (or palette) so it becomes more malleable — Kryolan’s tip: “For best results always warm the cream to body temperature by mixing it on the back of your hand.”
Dab the product onto the area you want to cover (e.g., discolouration, scar).
Blend the edges meticulously into the surrounding skin so there is no visible line or patch. Because the pigment is heavy, you may want to apply thin layers and build up rather than start heavy.
Fix and set
After the cream is applied and blended, apply the matching Dermacolor Fixing Powder (and/or Fixing Spray) over the area to “lock” the coverage. This step is key to achieving the long-wear and waterproof endurance claimed.
Using a puff or fluffy brush, press the powder into the area, then remove excess.
Proceed with full makeup / asset workflow
Once the corrective area is set, you can proceed with further makeup (foundation over other areas, blush, contour, eyes, lips).
Because you create high-quality brand assets (desktop, mobile, square formats) consider doing a test capture under your actual lighting/camera to ensure the corrected skin reads properly on screen.
Removal & aftercare
At end of wear (shoot day or model session) use a good quality makeup remover/cleansing oil, since high-pigment creams require thorough removal.
Follow with your usual skincare routine. Proper aftercare helps preserve skin health especially if used regularly.
