This product is part of the Kryolan “Dermacolor Camouflage” system — a highly pigmented cream make-up intended to correct and cover visible skin irregularities like discolorations, scars, tattoos, etc.
Shade: D11 (one of the many “D”-series shades).
Size: 4 g (the small standard size) as noted in Indian retail listings.
The brand description states: “Dermacolor Camouflage Creme is an especially highly pigmented make-up which is designed to correct and cover skin disfigurements, discolorations and tattoos. … Once fixed using Fixing Powder and Fixing Spray … it will be waterproof and protects the skin against damaging UV radiation.”
It also mentions: “available in an extensive range of shades … those are intermixable which gives the make-up a natural appearance when applied correctly.”
High coverage: Because of the intensified pigment, this product is designed to deliver strong coverage of discolorations, scars, tattoos, or other visible irregularities.
System compatibility: It is part of a “system” — meaning that when used with the matching Fixing Powder and/or Fixing Spray in the Dermacolor line, the coverage becomes more durable and more resistant to sweat/humidity.
Intermixable shade range: You can mix shades within the range (for example D11 might be mixed with a lighter/darker D shade) to better match your undertone or customise coverage.
Professional / specialised use: Because of its formulation and claim of “covers even under extreme conditions” (swimming, heat, physical strain) it’s geared not just for everyday cosmetic use but for more heavy-duty corrective work.
Here’s a suggested step-by-step method tailored for use of D11 in the 4 g size:
Prepare the skin
Cleanse and moisturize the area you wish to cover. Make sure skin is not overly dry or flaky — heavy pigment tends to emphasise texture if skin isn’t prepped.
If you’re covering larger or more visible areas (scars, tattoos, discolorations) ensure the surrounding skin tone is even.
Select the product and warm it
Using a small spatula or clean finger/brush, pick up a small amount of the cream.
Warm it (for example on the back of your hand) so the cream becomes more pliable — this helps with blending. The brand note says: “For best results always warm the cream to body temperature by mixing it on the back of your hand.”
Apply the product
Dab the product onto the area needing correction.
Blend the edges into the surrounding skin carefully, so the transition is smooth and there are no harsh lines.
Because the product is high-coverage, start with a thin layer; you can add a second thin layer if needed rather than one heavy coat.
Fix the product
After the cream is applied and blended, use the matching Fixing Powder (and/or Fixing Spray) in the Dermacolor system to “lock in” the coverage. This step is important to achieve the claims of being waterproof and long-wearing.
Use a clean brush or puff to apply the powder, pressing it gently over the corrected area.
Finish with your regular makeup (if any)
Once fixed, you can apply additional makeup (foundation, blush, eye-makeup) if needed.
Because this is a corrective concentrate, you may only need minimal additional product over the corrected area.
Removal
At the end of wear, you’ll want a proper makeup remover (especially since the formula is high-pigment and made for strong coverage).
Cleanse thoroughly and follow with skincare appropriate for your skin type.
