Skin Prep
Ensure model’s skin is clean, moisturised, and primed. Good skin prep helps the foundation sit well, especially in close-ups.
For shine control (important under lights), consider applying a light mattifying primer in T-zone if needed.
Application
Dispense 1 pump (or appropriate amount) of foundation. Use fingers, brush, or sponge depending on finish you want (brush for more coverage, sponge for skin-like finish).
Start from centre of face (nose, cheeks, chin) and blend outward for even coverage, avoiding heavy build up near hairline.
Build-or-set as needed
For almost full coverage and flawless finish (good for campaign visuals): apply second thin layer on areas needing more coverage (e.g., under-eyes, sides of nose).
Then set lightly with translucent powder if you expect strong studio light or long shoot duration.
Photography tip
Capture the bottle itself (premium packaging).
Show swatch of shade #110C on a model’s or hand/arm skin tone similar to your target model to see how it renders under your lighting (studio vs daylight).
Take full-face shot of model wearing the foundation to examine finish (texture, matte-luminous balance, undertone match).
Since your context might include Indian skin tones and lighting: verify that the cool undertone still translates well—that it doesn’t appear too grey or ash.
Long-wear / environment check
Given India’s warm/humid climate, check midday how the foundation behaves (shine, slip, creasing). Have blotting/powder on hand during long asset shoots.
Storage & presentation
Keep bottle closed and stored upright, away from extreme heat or direct sunlight to preserve formula and packaging integrity.
For product-asset visuals: ensure cap and bottle are clean, no fingerprints/smudges, to maintain luxury appearance.
