This is a contour stick from Fenty Beauty (by Rihanna), described as having a long-wear, light-as-air matte, cream-to-powder formula.
Shade Amber is amongst the “Contour Skinsticks” range designed to sculpt and define facial features across a spectrum of skin tones.
Intended for targeted contouring (hollows of cheeks, jawline, sides of nose, etc.) with buildable coverage and easy application.
Packaging: stick format (twist-up) for convenience. According to the product page: “Fill Weight: 0.25 oz / 7.10 g”.
Additional note: the product has been reformulated/updated in some regions according to reviews.
Sculpting & definition: Helps to carve out natural shadows and structure — giving cheekbones, jawline, temples, and nose more definition.
Inclusive shade range: Amber sits among a line of shades created to suit different skin depths and undertones, enhancing inclusivity.
Cream-to-powder finish: Offers the ease of a cream stick with the matte finish of a powder; blends easily and sets nicely.
Long-wear & no caking/creasing: Brand states it is made to layer and lasts without creasing or caking when applied correctly.
Portable & handy format: The stick format is travel-friendly and convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.
Here’s a recommended usage method:
Begin with your base (foundation/concealer) so your skin tone is even.
Instinctively choose the areas you want contour: under the cheekbones (in the hollows), along the jawline, sides of the nose (if desired), temples/hairline, under chin.
Twist up the stick moderately (a little goes a long way).
Draw/trace the contour lines with the stick.
Immediately blend using your chosen tool: a dense brush, a sponge, or your fingertips. Because the formula sets into a powder-like finish, blending quickly helps smooth the transition.
If desired, you can layer/build if you want a stronger effect — the product is buildable.
Finish by setting with a light translucent or matching powder if your skin tends to be oily or if you want the contour to last all day.
For best results: ensure your skin is well-primed/moisturised (so the cream formula glides smoothly) and ideally avoid applying too thickly in one go to prevent a heavy look.
