This is part of Kryolan’s “Translucent Powder” range — a professional-grade setting powder formulated for cream or fluid foundations.
The formula is described as “formulated with a high concentration of modified rice starch, it provides exceptional oil absorption and extended durability, ensuring a flawless, matte finish that lasts.”
Shade/variant: TL4 — one of the tinted/translucent options. The TL-series (TL1, TL2, TL3, TL4 …) are listed on Kryolan’s site under “Color selection”.
Size: 60 g is a size listed (e.g., one Indian retailer lists the 60g size for TL4).
Finish: Matte. Suitable for both professional makeup artist kits and everyday use.
Strong oil/shine control: Thanks to the rice-starch base, it helps absorb excess sebum/shiny skin which is very valuable in Indian/humid climate situations.
Long wear & durability: Designed for professional grading — meaning it supports makeup staying in place longer under lights, heat, movement.
Versatile shade option: Even though it's described as “translucent,” the TL4 variant gives a soft tinted option (useful for matching specific undertones or depths) rather than purely transparent.
Large size for value/pro use: 60 g is a generous size, especially if you use powder often or in a professional context (bridal makeup, shoots, etc.).
Brand and pro reputation: Kryolan is known in pro makeup circles (bridal, theatre, film) — having it in your kit supports a premium brand positioning which you often lean into for your digital/brand work.
After applying your base (foundation or tinted moisturizer) and concealer, use a soft puff or sponge to pick up a moderate amount of the TL4 powder.
Apply via press/roll the puff over areas prone to oil/shine (T-zone: forehead, nose, chin) and then lightly across the cheeks and other areas if needed.
Let the powder sit on the surface for a minute or two (as per Kryolan’s direction: allow a few minutes), then use a clean powder brush to remove excess and buff for a polished finish.
If you’re doing heavy-duty work (bridal, shoot), you might finish with a setting spray on top of the powder to lock everything in place and minimise movement in heat/humidity.
For touch-ups during the day: have a small puff or powder on hand to blot lightly over shiny areas. Because the TL4 powder helps absorb oil, a little re-application can freshen the look.
Storage: Keep the jar closed, stored upright, in a cool/ dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. In Indian climate, heat and humidity can degrade powders or change their texture.
Application tip: If using over cream foundations or heavy coverage products (which you often do for brand assets or high-end visuals) this powder works especially well to set them so they look clean in photos and avoid flash-back or micro-shifting.
