This is a full-coverage liquid foundation by Bobbi Brown that provides up to 16-hour wear, with a “natural matte, real-skin finish” that is comfortable, breathable and weightless.
According to the Indian site: formulated with Smart Skin-Balancing Technology (in the “Weightless Skin” variant) or in this “Long-Wear” variant with oil-controlling actives + skin-loving ingredients.
Suitable for normal to oily skin; designed to control excess oil and shine while still providing hydration.
Shade “Golden Beige W-048” is described on Indian site as “Light-medium beige with golden undertones; for light to medium skin.”
Long wear + durability: The formula is sweat- and humidity-resistant, built to last up to “16-hour wear” without heavy feeling.
Oil control + matte finish: Includes ingredients aimed at controlling oil and shine (mineral powders, oil-absorbing powders) to keep skin looking refined in hot/humid conditions.
Skin-true, natural-matte look: Despite full coverage, the finish is designed to look like real skin (not mask-like), making it ideal for high-end brand imagery and luxury visuals.
Undertone-calibrated shade range: The W-048 “Golden Beige” provides a golden undertone which is particularly suited for Indian/Asian skin tones with warm or golden undertones.
Comfortable texture: It’s advertised as breathable and comfortable, which is helpful when doing long shoots or all-day wear.
Performance under Indian climate: Given the oil-control + wear claims, this is well suited for Indian conditions (warm/humid, longer wear).
Prepare your skin
Cleanse, apply serum/moisturiser as normal. For oily/combination skin, you might also apply a light mattifying primer only on T-zone if needed.
Because the finish is matte and the formula long-wear, ensuring the skin is prepped (no dry patches) helps the end result look flawless.
Application
Dispense about a pea-to-almond sized amount (depending on your face size) on the back of your hand.
Using a foundation brush (buffing brush) or a damp beauty sponge, apply the foundation starting from the centre of your face (nose/cheeks) and blend outward toward jawline and hairline. The brand recommends for their “Weightless” variant: buff with brush (soft circular motions) for medium coverage, pressing motions for fuller coverage.
For this “Long-Wear” version, you can apply similarly—start at centre, blend out.
Set & finish
Because the foundation has good oil-control and long wear, you may lightly dust a translucent setting powder in your T-zone to lock in for Indian heat/humidity.
For luxury-visuals (photography, brand assets): ensure uniform finish, show smooth texture under good lighting, maybe show before/after.
Touch-up during day
With long wear foundations, you might not need heavy re-application, but if you blot away oil and lightly press another thin layer or powder mid-day you’ll maintain the polished look.
For shoots, make sure to have blot sheets + compact powder ready for mid-shoot refresh.
Special tip for Indian skin tones
Shade W-048 “Golden Beige”: test in natural daylight to confirm match since the lighting can change how gold/peach undertones appear.
If your skin undertone is strongly yellow/golden (rather than pink/rosy), this shade is likely a good fit.
Because you’re creating brand visuals, you might show the foundation on models under daylight + studio light to highlight how the finish holds up.
